AVIRT – Active Violence Incident Response Training AVIRT (Active Violence Incident Response Training) is a practical, reality-based course designed to prepare individuals, organizations, and community members to effectively respond to active violence incidents. This training focuses on situational awareness, threat recognition, and decision-making under stress. Participants will learn proven strategies to avoid, deter, and respond to violent encounters using best-practice principles adapted from emergency services, law enforcement, and civilian response models. Through discussion, scenario-based learning, and hands-on application, students will build the confidence and skills needed to act quickly and appropriately in high-risk situations—whether that means escaping danger, assisting others, or coordinating with first responders. Course Topics Include: -Understanding active violence threats and behaviors -Situational awareness and prevention strategies -Communication and coordination during critical incidents -Basic trauma care considerations until help arrives -What to expect when help arrives Who This Course Is For: -Businesses and staff teams -Schools, churches, and community organizations -Outdoor guides and recreation leaders -Individuals seeking personal preparedness 2 Year Certification by HSI. 4 participant minimum. Cancellation Policy
Course Refund Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to request a refund for your course, please review the following conditions: Refund Eligibility: You may request a refund within 7 days from the in-person/ skills course start date. Specific payers such as course fees paid by employers and AZ ESA may not be eligible for refunds. Refund Amount: If you are eligible for a refund, you will receive 50% of the total course fee. The remaining 50% will be non-refundable. You may reschedule to another skills time in coordination with Naturalist Solutions via email naturalistsolutions@gmail.com. Refund Process: To request a refund, please contact us at Naturalist Solutions via email at naturalistsolutions@gmail.com with your course details. Refund requests will be processed within 15 business days. Non-refundable Fees: Any administrative or processing fees, if applicable, are non-refundable. ESA funds may not be refunded. After the Refund Period: No refunds will be issued 7 days prior to the in-person course start date. By enrolling in the course, you agree to the terms outlined in this refund policy. Course Reschedule Policy We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we want to accommodate our students as much as possible. Please review the following guidelines for rescheduling your course: Reschedule Requests: You may request to reschedule your course up to 7 calendar days before the in-person course start date if another in-person course is available. Reschedule Fee: A rescheduling fee of $80 USD may apply for any reschedule requests less than 7 calendar days of the in-person class. Availability: Rescheduling is subject to availability. We will make every effort to offer alternative dates or courses, but availability may vary. After the Reschedule Window: Reschedule requests made less than 1 calendar day before the course start date may not be accepted, and no reschedules will be allowed. Limitations: Each participant is allowed a maximum of ONE reschedule per in-person course. After that, no further rescheduling will be permitted. No-Shows: If you fail to attend the course without prior notice or fail to reschedule within the allowed time frame, you will forfeit the course fee. Process: To request a reschedule, please contact us at naturalistsolutions@gmail.com as soon as possible. Reschedule requests generally will be processed within 7 business days.
