This concise, 60 minute class gives hands-on community class prepares participants to act safely and effectively during the first critical minutes of an incident. Key topics include: - Scene control, hazard recognition, and personal safety - Effective 911 activation and clear communication - Bleeding control and life-threat recognition - Awareness in MARCH priorities (Massive bleeding, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Head/Hypothermia/ Help) - Operating as an Initial Responder—not a rescuer Designed for parents, educators, outdoor users, and community members seeking practical preparedness. No prior medical training required.
